This is not to start a topic on cats but I do want to crow that my cat Emmalina (also known as Emmy) is now a star on WQED’s Pets page that just went up today. She’s #13 & #14 in the gallery. [Update in 2020: this page is no longer available]

Oh what a gorgeous girl! My kitties like to watch the birds with me. They get especially excited when they hear a purple finch on the telephone wires outside. I think the finches sit out there and sing just to say “Nyah, nyah–you can’t get me!” to my girls.
