Anne Marie Bosnyak reports that two peregrines have fledged from the Neville Island I-79 Bridge as of yesterday evening, June 8.

The first one, above, was seen by Gene Henderson on Tuesday afternoon, June 7.  An adult watched over it.

  1. For the last half hour or so Hope and baby seem to be doing a Mexican hat dance or standoff. What is she trying to teach the baby. She has grown so fast and knowing she will be soon taking flight I am excited and sad at the same time. She is one beautiful birds and I hope she has a long life

    1. Patty, I am not at a computer to see this but I have heard that both Hope and Terzo try to feed C1 but the chick grabs the food and wants to feed herself. These tussles are part of growing up.

  2. When Hope and baby we’re doing their dance morning she had no food just showing her different movements it was amazing. I wonder if she was trying she show her how to find a fellow LOL
