Caleb Rodgers had a peregrine outside his window at Point Park University last evening.

This young peregrine fledged from the Third Avenue nest several days ago.  He’s flying so well now that he visited one of his parents’ favorite perches at Lawrence Hall in Downtown Pittsburgh.

How cool is that!

  1. Very cool!! Is that the rescue porch? If so, it looks like someone had a chair in the corner. Maybe that is what the rescued fledgling used to get up on the railing.

    1. Lori, this is the porch on the other side … the mirror image of the rescue porch.

    1. Robin, the birds are not banded so we don’t know which is which. The rescued bird flew away 24 hrs later. One or more young peregrines are seen downtown daily.
