Thank you!

A big thank you to everyone who attended last night’s event, Celebrate Pittsburgh’s Peregrines, and especially to Steve Sarro, Cathy Schlott, and Horace, the lanner falcon, from the National Aviary

I had a great time and enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting so many of you who read this blog.

I’ll post more pictures from the event as I have time to prepare them.  Here’s one from Sharon Leadbitter.

Again, thank you.  It was great fun!

  1. Thank you Kate for a very informative and exciting presentation! I am very new to the Pittsburgh Peregrine “watch” and I am hooked!

  2. I so enjoyed the “falcon folks” get together last evening. Thanks to all those who made it possible.

  3. It was wonderful meeting you in person, Kate, your CEO, the fine people from the Pgh. Aviary, and Horace the incredible Lanner Falcon. What a gentleman the little guy is! The arrangements were so special and you all were so gracious. Many thanks…and thanks to Giant Eagle for the delicious treats!

  4. Man am I bummed out that I missed this. I’ve seen some new birds out here in Albuquerque, but no raptors yet. And no roadrunners. I haven’t had a chance to get out much yet, but things should settle down in a few weeks. Photos soon.

Thanks for doing these programs Kate!

  5. Thank You Kate for a wonderful evening and a great chance to enjoy the birding family in Pittsburgh. Hope you do this program again soon.

  6. Congratulations on the successful gig.

Saw one of the “Dunn Memorial Bridge” falcons, up here in Albany two weekends ago as we drove under the bridge. If spring isn’t here (it ISN’T here here; believe me), spring is coming.
