We love our redbellies! They live here year round (Baton Rouge, Louisiana area) and they keep us amused with their antics. After all the storms and tree damage we’ve had lately, they have plenty of housing to choose from…..
It’s one of “my” tamer birds who let me take it’s photo thru the front door…it just happened the late afternoon sun was the “golden hour” and as I say, right time, right place, right bird…(lucky really)

That red streak is visible about as often as a total solar eclipse. Marcy,it was a wonder that you got it so well. Kudos!!
