Pitt Falconcam is Zoomed for Hatching

Dorothy at her Cathedral of Learning nest (photo from the snapshot camera at University of Pittsburgh)

Since Dorothy and E2’s eggs will hatch in the next few days, I’ve zoomed the snapshot camera so we can see better.

Good morning, Dorothy!

p.s.  The streaming cam is blurry but you can listen for sounds of the baby birds and hear Dorothy and E2 talk to them on the audio here: http://www.aviary.org/cons/falconcam_cl.html

    1. E2 is a bit amused that he was temporarily renamed during Stephen Colbert’s visit. Since he lives near Billy Conn Boulevard, he knows all about honorary re-namings.
He was in on the joke last fall when he had more time to join in the fun but Colbert had to cancel and E2 is too busy at the nest now to adopt a new name for more than a few hours. 😉
