The third of four eggs has hatched at the Pitt peregrine nest at the Cathedral of Learning this morning. Its eggshell appeared at 5:30am.

Nice to see a third hatch. At 11:39 a nest switch allowed a peak at all three chicks. It’s odd, isn’t is, that the third egg hatched three days after the first two? Maybe there is hope for the fourth egg.
The 3rd egg was laid 2.5 days after the 2nd so she must have started incubating earlier than I thought. The fourth was 4 days after the third so its prognosis does not look good.
