One benefit of living in a high rise is having a good view of the sky. I see many birds in flight and I get to watch the sky in all its moods. This week the sky has been especially moody.
On Sunday morning, 14 June, the sun barely poked crepuscular rays through the clouds at sunrise.

Later that day we had a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, then a Tornado Watch. The moody sky became ominous, photos at top and below.

But nothing happened. Not even any lightning. The scary clouds passed over and it was gone.
This morning, a peaceful sunrise.

Even more peaceful: Three days earlier the moon rose, too.
