A Rare Sighting

Hope at the Pitt peregrine nest, 17 Dec 2018

Pittsburgh’s peregrines rarely visit their nests in December and when they do it’s for a very short time.

Here are three snapshots of a quick visit Hope made to the Pitt peregrine nest on Monday 17 December 2018. She was there only two minutes.

  1. Thanks so much for the photos. It’s so great to see Hope again and see she’s doing well. I’m looking forward to when the camera starts streaming again. Do you have any idea when that will be?

  2. So happy Hope came home.. looking forward to seeing her and Terzo again. Saw a while ago that the Gulf Tower was visited by it’s former tenants too. I pray they return for the nesting season too.

    1. Yes, I hope the peregrine pair return to the Gulf Tower, too! It is always great to see Hope and Terzo at the Cathedral! Thanks!
